Teeny Tiny Envelope Paintings

When we were little, my friends and I used to write notes and letters to each other and cover the envelopes with a gazillion pictures and tons more writing – so my jaw
dropped when I discovered the sophisticated, adult version of my childhood art folly.

Self-confessed pen-pal and illustrator Lucy Halcomb mails letters to her friends in pretty pastel-coloured envelopes decorated with tiny watercolour paintings of everyday objects, which she records on her Instagram feed, Lucy Mail. She also sells them on her online shop, too. Makes me want to take time to write letters more.
